aranda should have baylor getting some respect with these great hires

A lot of these guys are leaving for an opportunity they likely will never get at LSU until they get the experience elsewhere.
We are in a position where it sucks to lose great positional coaches, but there would be a revolt if we ever hired these guys to the top role without more outside experience. Just a nature of being a national championship program
But Baylor does have money to spend.

He would have set LSU back another decade. I guess I can honestly thank Alleva for his incompetence. Half the board was absolutely enamored with Jimbo. All he did at FSU was inherit a top program and Heisman quarterback that Bowden put together, and then absolutely raze it to the ground in dramatic fashion and record time.
He was a great coordinator for LSU but just watch when aTm fans are marching with pitchforks and torches demanding his head before the end of 2020. Bookmark me. We dodged a bullet.

Fisher recruited and developed Winston. FSU was 7-6, 7-6, 9-4 and 7-6 in Bowden’s last 4 years.

Think our fans helped build this aura around Thomas because of his role in getting Stevens and Phillips. Im sure he’ll be a nice asset to Aranda tho. Never understood why people freaked out that time he went to USC for like 3 days.

There was also that article that profiled him and made it sound like he was Bill Belicheck reincarnated and that he was going to get an NFL GM job within 2 years
That’s really the only kind of behind the scenes look you get for the off the field staff so it’s easy to build them up or tear them down

We will see how much impact he had as we fill out the next class. It’s hard to tell with behind the scenes folks like that since recruits may not mention them by name, at least they didn’t with us

Les always spoke highly of him too but Les would say nice things about Putin if you put him in front of a crowd with a mic.
