Longo is a pretty innovative hire. They go fast AF at Sam Houston.

Longo seems like he's done well on the small stages he's been on. Puts up a ton of points, up tempo, former air-raid guy, but has transitioned to more running this past year.
Will it translate to major football?
McGriff is a terrible hire. Guy oversaw the worst secondary in NFL history and has never guided his own defense. AT BEST he's a total unknown as a coordinator with poor secondary coaching.

I wonder how the Longo hire will affect Cam Akers since Longo runs more air raid.

Pretty sure Akers is either FSU or LSU bound. Ole Miss seems to have faded on that front, even before Longo.

I look at it like the sanctions must be pretty bad if you have to hire a guy from Sam Houston St and a DB coach with no experience as a DC

But I think its down to us and Auburn..
would be stupid not to choose us.. he plays right away and is the feature back his soph year..
