So he's just waiting to find out if they're still in the playoff hunt after Bedlam to sign an extension...?

Waiting on a OU counter. He knows how to play the game

Yeah you must be really financially strapping your family if Riley signs for $12MM per.

I don't know, during our 2019 run, I just wanted to talk about LSU because there was so much hope and excitement. But to each their own, you're right.

That’s a lot of damn cheese. I also imagine SW has made Riley’s support staff budget also known to him.
It’s a hard damn task to pull a great coach from any school, let alone a blue blood; but if Riley stays at OU, no one can say Woodward didn’t throw everything at him.

I’m told that our AD Joe C will only go to ten million max
Personally I’m enjoying the soap opera

I mean..........you're comparing one of the greatest seasons in CFB history to a 1 loss season where they were already ranked 8th in the playoff rankings prior to said loss?

I’ve been consistent in saying an offer was on the table and Riley is considering it. Why do you think there hasn’t been an announcement for a new contract like MSU did with Tucker?

Still saying no from my sources.

Or even an emphatic denial like Jimbo. This could easily be shut down by Riley, but it hasn't.

I seriously doubt that SW is still sitting and waiting on LR to accept or decline his offer. He has either accepted or declined by this point. SW doesn't appear to me to be the kind of guy sitting in his office waiting for the phone to ring.

You're going against the grain of your other OU brethren over here. I like it.

If indeed the offer is 12 per year plus huge $$$$$ allotted for DC and remaining staff, how in the hell could Riley stay at OkieU? That would defy all logic.

I can't support that kind of $ for anyone not named Saban.
well Woodward is about to set the market like 1999 when 1 million a year was unheard of to pay a college coach

Too many other vacancies to be filled now. SW is not waiting on final points to be negotiated. SW and LR either have a deal or not. SW won't be left settling on option 5 or 6 because of a "slow roll" with LR.
