If you were raping someone while speeding probably. Or if you were mishandling rape cases while speeding i would think so. See i can make up stupid points and analogies too!

I'm not going to spend time explaining how analogies work but I think the point went over your head just a tad.

Do you think Joe Paterno would have been perma banned from coaching if the issues he turned a blind eye to with Sandusky would have gotten him fired in the 80s when he was still at the top of his profession?

Over my head? I just jumped to unrealistic analogies like you did. Nothing more.

Yall say he broke Baylor rules, not Federal. He got fired from Baylor. So why cant he be hired somewhere else?

Well which case are we talking about here? There are 17 of them involving 19 football players.
so are there any instances where he didn't instruct the alleged (at the time) victims to immediately contact the police?

Baylor is rotten to the core. Briles was part of what made it rotten. He's not the only bad guy. Hell, he's not even the worst bad guy. But he helped create a culture that put winning football games above everything else including student safety.

From the link it sounds like Baylor's backwoods way of thinking was put above student safety, not football. The article doesn't seem to be related to the incidents with football players.

Jfc, you people are sad. Actually read reports, interviews, and do some research before blaming victims.

Research? You get assaulted, attacked or raped, you call the police. No research necessary. you want to mention it to the attackers football coach, fine, but that comes way down the line and definitely after you've reported it to the police.

If they told the coach and didn't tell the police, he should have made sure someone reported it, but the whole thing is bizzare. Multiple people got attacked/raped and they and/or their parents all kept it from the cops and only went to the football coach? It doesn't make sense.

And now said Coach is the worst human alive because he didnt immediately march every accused player to the police station. He told each accuser to go to the police like every other reasonable person would.
Then we see how corrupt Baylor is yet Briles was the one who shoulder the blame for not following university policy in all this..... and all this makes him unhirable!!!!!!

I'm not sure. There is no definitive evidence on this either way that i have found. Theres a single example where he did.

Could you get to your point please. I have a feeling i already know what it is, and it still doesn't excuse his behavior.

did he ever tell them not to go to the police? to your knowledge

I have never come here to defend Briles, but it looks like most of your posts are meant to make you feel better about you. It's quite ironic really. Keep riding that high horse. Your soap box is starting to break under all that weight of your self importance.

I am merely trying to find out why a victim of rape would reach out to a coach and not call 911. Yet when that question is asked you conveniently throw out blame the victim card.

You never have been able to answer the question. Also, the standards of the university to call parents and tell them about the circumstances is weak.

Had she gone to proper authorities the facts of their situation would become public anyway. Was the victim only wanting the player to be expelled quietly and then she would feel justice was served?

What was her agenda by only telling the coach? or going to the admins?

Lol. Go read dude. I already explained many of the cases were reported and the police mishandled them too.

You're right. It doesn't make sense because that's not what happened. Maybe if you read a single article i linked or quotes from the articles you would actually understand this issue spans an entire university and city police. Art is just one of the people who got his hands dirty in the process.

and this behavior that you deplore is telling the victim to go immediately to the police and tell them what happened...versus telling some school administrator what happened...is this correct?

Additionally, would you have preferred he accompany the victim to the police station? or made a call to the police himself?

It doesnt matter to him Chicken. Wasting time.
To him Briles was basically complicit in the rape and we are all sympathizers to rapists. Case closed.

Dude...they did call the police you moron. I have said it multiple times. Jfc, are you really this dumb or a troll? Ok ill post it again.

First, let me explain how this works. I post some letters below. They will be L I N K. They will be in blue. You have to click those blue letters. They will take you to the information i am referencing. The hardest part is you have to spend 5 minutes out of your day (maybe more for you) to read, understand, and process all those words. If you can successfully do that then you should understand you're very uneducated on this matter.

Here we go:

Did it work? Will you please drop this whole "the victim didn't do the right thing" shtik now?

Your posting is showing that I was correct about your need to feel superior and build up yourself on a message board.

That is really middle school behavior. Are you able to post without insults and attacks? I think I will contact Chicken and tell him I am being assaulted.

So is Chicken then legally required to call the authorities on your behalf??? Or how does that work? Im confused???

Will Chicken be able to find a job after all this? He would be complicit in internet bullying according to Tracker.

1)provide me with 17 links where art briles handled the situation like the one example.

2) there was evidence in at least one of the cases where he had the information and did nothing with it. I already posted that link and quoted it.

3)He was REQUIRED (for the 100th time) to report these incidents if he knew about them. He did not do that.

4) I would have preferred he relayed the information to anyone of authority instead of keeping it under his hat. He just sat on the info. That's gonna look shady regardless of his true intent, which based on the number of cases and evidence provided seemed like football above all else.

Any other questions?

You make some good points. I think I will lawyer up and see if I can get a settlement.

Sorry Chicken, I just didn't know how to dial 911.
