This is a thinking outside of the box strategic move. We are going to be hitting the JUCO ranks hard for the next couple of years. This gives us direct access to Hutchinson and a good selling point to all JUCO head coaches.

Pittman seemed to indicate he didn't plan on building the team around Jucos but he might take 1 or 2. Not sure this is the plan.

A strategic juco or two is fine. Can't build a team full of them.
Arkansas should be working the transfer portal like no other team.
That's the new juco imo

He also hired Barry Odom from Mizzou. We are going to have two head coaches from 2019 teams coaching our defense.

Plenty of candidates on staff for the interim head coaching job when Pittman doesn’t work out.
