Chad Dinkins ?@dinkdumpdish
BREAKING NEWS: Heard at halftime Gruden is making an announcement on rumors swirling around. Stay Tuned. #RedTie
Followed by Sharp Tusk Williams and 3 others

ermagesh

Doubt this is true, but hey gives me a reason to not switch to another channel during halftime.

Edit: And if the slim chance that this is real is true, then surely it will be him shooting down the rumors.

I want Santa Clause because he has a great support network and multiple contacts. Also his coaching staff is used to not jumping ship, continuity.

Gruden isn't even in SF calling the MNF game brah.

He is doing it from Dooleys former office in Knoxville.

I agree with this. I know for a fact that Gruden will not be the next coach at the UofA. I want a big name college coach. Patterson or Gundy would be my ideal candidates.

True, Bama has had our number for a while, but why don't you go take a few and actually check our records against LSU and Auburn over the last few years and get back with me.

On Gruden... even if we didn't get him, our 2nd and 3rd choices beat our first choices (except Petrino maybe) over most of our history.

Thanks, I hadnt noticed till tonight that he has been wearing the red tie regularly, thought it might be something leaning to you Hogs. But I guess not if it has been a regular part of his wardrobe, Thanks.

Even more reason he's the new head hog, he'll save a ton by not having to buy new ties.

My guess, is it will be a NFL guy like Schottenheimer. I think the success of the last two hires from the NFL and the Bill O'Brien success almost makes it a no-brainer. I just do not know who it will be exactly. I like Schotty or Roman as the best option. I could see Rob Chudzinski from the Panthers also, since he has worked with Cam and has run the Veer Option. He played at Miami so he know success. They are also about to get fired from Carolina. He is 44 years old also, so he can relate to the kids. Here is his coaching file.
University of Miami
(Graduate assistant)
University of Miami
(Tight ends coach)
University of Miami
(Offensive coordinator)
Cleveland Browns
(Tight ends coach)
San Diego Chargers
(Tight ends coach)
Cleveland Browns
(Offensive coordinator),
San Diego Chargers
(Tight ends coach/Assistant head coach)
Carolina Panthers
(Offensive coordinator)

All this is just a guess as I am not sure what Long will do, but those three names I listed are possibly the best gets out there and the left field hires I expect.

I'd love to have Roman. If that is true then it is nothing but good news.

I hate to say this but I am scared Roman would jump to the NFL much like Jags. He reminds me of him a lot. I think Jag would be a fantastic hire if available, but his history would scare me as an AD.
