Its crazy how much money Arkansas has but can not land a great head coach, is it their location or the reputation with Jones, Waltons, Tyson, and Hunt's always "managing" you?

With a coach that is a recruiting guru, or hires such and manages his assistants well. We are a sleeping giant. Facilities, location, are incredible. Our recruiting is very difficult because of lack of proximity of better recruits.
It would take someone truly capable of building and sticking with it. Morris didn't have the "it" factor in coaching at all. fwiw

It's been Kiffin from the get go. No crazy sources. It just makes the most sense. He brings the best combo of recruiting plus coaching.
He's also ready to be back in the SEC with a bit of a chip on his shoulder.

Well we were a top 10 program from the 60’s-80’s and have a similar history to A&M. People call them a sleeping giant too even though they haven’t accomplished anything we haven’t lol

A&M also has twice the recruiting base within a 200 mile radius of their campus, as the entire state of Arkansas.
