one ignorant grasshopper you must be.

If you have never experienced what is NW Arkansas as a location with unbelievable beauty, nature, people, business opportunities...

then the facilities, Jones Family, Tyson Family, Reynolds Family, Walker Family... Waltons…

We have incredible facilities for such a small state. Blows away MS schools, Mizzou schools, competes easily with Florida, and yes... overall, all facilities included even with LSWho…

But it is ok, remain ignorant... and Bless Your Heart!

Was the motorcycle crash

Go back and look at Petrino's recruiting class he signed in Feb 2012 right before his little spill. It was not good other than Jonathan Williams, Darius Philon, and Deatrich Wise. Jeremy Sprinkle was a reach who developed late in his career under Bert. The wheels were about to come off with his 17 WRs on the Arkansas roster. Just like they did at Louisville his second stint there once Lamar Jackson left. He couldn't keep good assts because they all hated his arse. The downfall was coming. His motorcycle trip just sped it up.

A&M also has twice the recruiting base within a 200 mile radius of their campus, as the entire state of Arkansas.

Haven't they always had that? Believe it or not Clemson typically recruited about as well as we do and was seen as a similar program to Arkansas up until about 10 years ago. A good coach can win at Arkansas just like we've seen with other similar programs who have taken leaps under solid coaches while we've made bad hires and gone the opposite way.

Sprinkle was our all-time TD leader by a TE up until O'Grady broke it this year. Keon Hatcher and MeKale McKay both spent time in the NFL from that class but McKay and several others ended up getting kicked off the team so I can agree it had a lot of troublemakers. His first class in 2008 was awesome though. He actually signed the highest rated class we've ever had at #16.

Just hire somebody. Nobody is going to consistently win there. The landscape has changed. Recruiting foothold are the key.
