Im hearing they are gonna offer Joe Brady 18 million per year plus a share of the longhorn network
If that were true, I would encourage him to go. Hell, they would probably throw in a few oil wells as well just to seal the deal.

I'd advise any coach dumb enough to take that Godforsaken job in Arkansas to secure themselves at least a $50 million dollar buy-out clause in their contract. Also, make sure to get an extra 2 million dollars in extra annual salary above and beyond the current market going rate cause Arkansas is desperate after their AD caved in to pressure and made that exceedingly stupid boneheaded move.

I hope we are, as you say "stuck", with Ed O until he retires in about another 7 more years when he will be 65. By then Joe Brady will be seasoned enough to secede him as the new head coach at LSU.

That's cute how you think he'll stay there that long.

Shut the frick up. Seriously, shut the frick up with this. He went 4-18 while getting blown out by G5 teams. Shut the frick up.
You dumb fricks were too damn stupid to give him enough time to recruit his own players and to implement his own system. Now you dumb lunatics will pay the fiddler.
No one with at least half a brain will take that job now unless they have a massive buyout and a couple of million dollars extra in annual salary cause you guys will be so desperate by the time this fiasco is over with to hire just anyone with a pulse to take that Godforsaken horrible job.

Easy, he works for the best head football coach in all of college football, he gets paid handsomely to do it, and there isn't a better place or better university in the entire country to coach college football. I mean, why would he even think of leaving?

You think he's going to sit there for 7 years and work for somebody who doesn't know half the football he does?

ll he had to do was show some type of improvement in year 2.
Sometimes you have to take two steps backward before you can take two steps forward and that is what was happening at Arkansas until the AD and the administration caved-in to the pressure coming from the extremely vocal minority and pulled the rug out from under Morris.
Now, today, Arkansas is the laughing stock of the rest of college football.

Ed O has made a damn good living and had a damn successful career making fools out of incredibly dumb idiots just like you who can't help underestimating him.

Still running that cock sucker of yours I see. Why can't you have a rational conversation about football?
So Ed O doesn't know football now? Jesus some of y'all have jumped the shark or are just retarded.
Brady might leave in seven years, in fact I would say it's probable. But it will only be for a head coaching position or maybe an NFL oc position. I say maybe because very few NFL Coordinators make more than 1.5 million, but I don't know what his goals are.
But he isn't going to leave for the dumbass reasons you say. Just like people go work for saban to help their career, people work for Ed O to learn how he recruits and to be left to do their job. The head coach he works for doesn't mess with that side of the ball and he is free to run the Offense like he desires so long as he produces. He will be paid extremely well, too 10 in cfb. That's all you can really ask for.
I swear, it's very easy to tell who the successful business guys from the idiots on here. The CC board is prolly the best board for recognizing this.

Jesus. You were on the fire Farmer Fran boat last season. Now he’s the best coach ever? Hahahaha. Chad was justified in his firing. Lane is locked up. LSU is fucccked.

Everyone’s been assuming Aranda would leave but he’s on year four and seems pretty solid going into year five. He was one of the hottest DCs in FBS for one or two of those years. Buzz comes and goes like that. He doesn’t have any buzz at the moment, UT if the D keeps playing like they did Saturday, that can change quickly. College Football is fickle.
No one knows what Brady will do long term, but he has a pretty damn good gig that will get him up the ladder at some point. Look at how long Kirby stayed with Saban. It paid off didn’t it? Mac and Kiffin settled for smaller jobs that came quicker and they paid their dues. Kirby landed the big job after showing some patience.
My point is simply that, if LSU keeps competing for the West and the Playoffs, the big fish will eventually come, whether it be a P5 head job or the NFL. But those offers are likely two years away. No P5 will hire him as a HC until they see what he can do in recruiting and he has no track record so far. An NFL OC gig could come sooner, but that’s hard to predict and no one knows if that’s what his career goal is.

Ed finally put it all together.
Took him some time but he learned from his past mistakes. What a good coach should do.

Ed Orgeron is a Defensive Line Coach. He's never been a defensive coordinator. As long as he's been in coaching, why do you think that is?
So hes a good recruiter. He's been recruiting to LSU and USC. How hard is it to recruit to those schools?
He's a mascot. In 5 years y'all will be talking about him the exact same way you talked about Miles.
If he doesn't beat Georgia and Ohio State this year, it won't even take 5 years.
Brady will move on, Aranda will move on. But you'll be stuck with good ol' white boot Ed.

Who the frick is farmer fran? I don't know who the hell farmer fran is, but the best head coach in college football today is Ed O at LSU. As his team is an incredible 12 & 0.
The only people that feel it was justifiable to fire Chad Morris before he had time to recruit his own players and implement his own system are dumb retards like you.
Lane isn't stupid enough to take that Godforsaken job unless he secures himself a gargantuan buy-out clause and at least a couple of million dollars above and beyond current market conditions. I'd also recommend that he require Arkansas to give him a 10-year deal similar to the deal Jimbo Fisher secured from A&M. Otherwise, I'd tell Arkansas to kiss my arse.
