Arkansas in panic mode? UPDATE: Harsin in play.

Heading chatter that Arkansas is having to scramble a bit. Basically all original options are out.
Any hog fans care to chime in?

No coach wants to take on that roster especially when you have to compete in the SEC west with what's already there.
Ark needs a fit for that job, someone that knows the area, can recruit Texas and north LA.

I guarantee Kiffin isn't out hut he's told them he isn't giving a yes until after the CUSA championship.
Arkansas may panic to hire someone this week. I will then laugh at Arkansas.
Harsin might take it but he isn't giving them a yes before the MWC either.

Russillo and Feldman talked about this as well, saying it might be a hard sell to get a high profile coach to take Arkansas, a mess of a team, that's in the SEC West while Saban is still around, along with a resurgent LSU and always around Auburn.

1 what? 1 year? Chad had two years to show any type of improvement. Chad wasn't asked to turn everything around. Arkansas just needed to see some signs of improvement. Getting blown out at home by a G5 school who is starting a QB that Chad thought wasn't good enough to play was the last straw.

Sounds like Ole Miss finally nutted up and got seriously in the game with Kiffin. Some pretty good sources close to Kiffin with ties to OM (I’ll let you figure it out) says that Lane would absolutely love being in Oxford.
I think we are waiting on Norvell’s decision to make an order to Lane. Lane is waiting on the OM offer before giving the answer to Arkansas.
So Ark is trying to line up a plan B in case Lane chooses Oxford. This is about to get real interesting.
And if WAOM holds true, FSU will get Norvell, Ark will get Kiffin and we will be stuck with Napier or some super long shot gamble like Healy.
