If Ed O was winless in SEC play and 4-18 in his first 2 years after Miles, LSU would've fired him and never thought twice.

Completely different circumstances altogether moron. LSU was not in great shape when Ed O took over but nonetheless, it wasn't a complete and utter basket case like Arkansas was and still is either.

Tell you what, get out of Louisiana. Talk to coaches that know him. Talk to people who've heard him speak at clinics. Talk to high school coaches who've talked ball with him.

Why the frick do y'all care so much that LSU and Clemson pay so much for their coordinators? LSU is paying less for the 4 coordinators and Ed than y'all are just for saban or about the same.
You do realize that the head coaches job is to win games right? Not be the main x&o guy. Bowden finished top 5, 14 straight years using the formula.
And that idiot Les, only won over 100 games in the toughest conference and division in the country. Sure it eventually the game passed him by, but he did pretty good for himself.

How many schools have the resources LSU does? Money, talent rich state, no instate competition, etc.
There are no limitations for success at LSU except the head coach, and that's been true for 40 years.
