You think that's what he's going to get paid next year?

He may want to call plays.

I'm just saying you think if it's a bidding war, you are the big dick in the locker room?

He's doing that already. Out of respect for Ensminger, they maintain that he's still in charge of play calling and still the OC, but Steve has no ego and has no problem letting Brady call what he wants. This first year was to get used to the idea of being a playcaller, and next year, even if they are co-coordinators, Brady will take that over.

Brady is already re-signed. Just hasn't been announced yet.

Like Schiano?
How big is that buyout to keep him in place like you think?

Head Coach at Boise State. Pretty good record over there. Would be about as good as Arkansas could expect, honestly.

Woodward has been on getting him inked for a few months. They aren't scrambling on this.

Never said they were. I said you guys keep saying Arkansas is panicking but the real panick will be when you lose him and you slip into the last 3ish years with YawYaw.

I'm just going by the thread title, bub. I couldn't care less what's going on at Arkansas. I'd be surprised if you pulled anyone bigger than Harsin right now.

1 what? 1 year? Chad had two years to show any type of improvement. Chad wasn't asked to turn everything around. Arkansas just needed to see some signs of improvement. Getting blown out at home by a G5 school who is starting a QB that Chad thought wasn't good enough to play was the last straw.

Arkansas was going through a complete roster transition. You were making a move to offensive philosophies that were polar opposite of each other. And then you fired the new coach less than two years into that transition because the results didn’t happen quick enough.

Contrary to what you other Arkansas posters think, college coaches can see that lack of security, and they know that you play in the SECW where even very good teams can lose 4 games a year and you will get almost zero interest from qualified coaches with other options.

Bro, it wasn’t the results weren’t there we were getting worse. We lost to San Jose and WKU this year.

I know those that don’t closely follow the Hogs don’t understand this but we have some talent. We were good enough to go bowling but our coaching was that bad.

Sounds like Ole Miss finally nutted up and got seriously in the game with Kiffin. Some pretty good sources close to Kiffin with ties to OM (I’ll let you figure it out) says that Lane would absolutely love being in Oxford.

I think we are waiting on Norvell’s decision to make an order to Lane. Lane is waiting on the OM offer before giving the answer to Arkansas.

So Ark is trying to line up a plan B in case Lane chooses Oxford. This is about to get real interesting.

And if WAOM holds true, FSU will get Norvell, Ark will get Kiffin and we will be stuck with Napier or some super long shot gamble like Healy

Kiffin isn't going to Ole Miss. He may have been waiting on FSU, but he's already assembling a staff for Arkansas. It's a done deal. Just waiting for the ifficial announcement.

You will be stuck with coach O for another 3 years and be back like last year where everyone was trying to get rid of him.

There were plenty of skeptics and even more like myself who were holding judgement on O his first two seasons. If he follows a playoff season with another 10 or 11 wins, no one will want him fired dumbass.

Keep hoping, though.

9 wins, 10 wins, 12 wins. Yep, we’re suffering over here.

They do when the guy before them never even got two full seasons.

Why would they be in panic mode now? The most sought after coaches are still coaching.
