Leach would be a great hire for any school, but would be comical seeing how he fits in at Arkansas.

You’re not getting Gus. Almost as delusional as LSU fans thinking we were going to hire anyone but Cookie Monster.

Arkansas has sucked and will continue to suck. They are a middle tier program and will never be great.

Leach and Rich Rod would be great choices. I don’t see either of them getting better offers and leaving so they would be long term hires. Kiffin would be the best short term hire but he would jump ship for a better job . The coaches from the AAC are risky because of not having a lot of experience.

Our “core” list is Malzahn, Norvell, Leach, Kiffin and allegedly Gundy.

Right now, Morris looks like he’s our absolute worst case fallback scenario.

That’s a pretty damn good spot to be in.

It is selfish, but I would love to see Leach coach in the SEC.

His style would put quite a few SEC teams on their heels.

And damn I can only imagine the press conferences.

Have to think he still can recruit Texas as well, right?

I agree...the timing will tell you who are potential coaches will be...

If the announcement is drawn out past the next couple of days then it will "most likely" be Norvell or that other guy that nobody thinks we will get

I honestly thought Mahlzan was heading to Arky until Auburn beat Bama. Morris would be an absolute homerun hire! Kiffin or Leach would be pretty awesome hires, IMO.

LSU fans in here beating their chest. The Saban effect has finally worn off at that place. Your coach is Ed O. Herman bout to cut into those Texas cruits.

Are you seeing the trend here? I am.

The Hogs are in a good position right now thanks to UF and OM moving quickly and TN botching things again. We can definitely have a little more patience now.

Morris would be pretty smart hire, but I don't think they pass up Norvell.

Living here I'd absolutely love Leach.

Morris or Lovell would be solid hires.

Arkansas may make a better higher than Tennessee.

I agree with you on this but if I'm Malzahn and Sexton I would make the Suburn powers that be give me an insanely huge buyout incentive to stay at AU. All the job threatening crap that Malzahn has had to deal with should force him to say "I want a guaranteed buyout to stay here". Malzahn and Sexton are both pretty daft if they don't demand this.

Honestly, I don't see Kiffen going to Fayetteville. That beautiful town just doesn't seem his speed. He likes skanky... Fayetteville is too nice of a place for him.

Well, Boca Raton isn't skanky. So there is that.

Actually, I'd put Boca up against almost anywhere in the country for hot women per capita. So he might hang on a few years.

Man, Boca Raton is one nasty twerk shake from Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. Plenty of Instagram skankiness in that area.

Fayetteville? Not so much. Now, if he was into meth and weed we'd be having a different discussion... because we know a short drive out of Fayetteville is a smorgasbord of meth and weed.
