The University of Arizona is weighing whether to fire football coach Rich Rodriguez, two people with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports on Tuesday. Those people spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.

Beyond the on-field performance, however, the school also has been dealing with a troubling allegation behind the scenes that led school officials last fall to hire an outside law firm to investigate Rodriguez for potential workplace misconduct, according to the people with knowledge of the probe. Though no misconduct was determined by the probe, which Rodriguez cooperated with fully, a former administrative assistant subsequently has threatened to file a lawsuit against him.

Cue the Rich Rod why can’t he be our OC..

Why?
He really hasn't been too bad there
Bowl every season, won 10 games a few years ago
He even won the south division there
Arizona can't do better

It has nothing to do with on the field per football scoop.

It was a decent rebound season for them, so unless there's some bad news brewing off the field, firing him doesn't make much sense.
I hope this isn't an overreaction to ASU hiring Herm.

If they fire him after determining he did nothing wrong, I hope he sues the shite out of the university.

FWIW, there were always reports out of Michigan practices that Rich rod and his staff went hardcore at the players, every other word a curse word, very mean and crass

Wah. Suck it up buttercup. Michigan was soft.

Poor Michigan players! Saban is the same way. At least he was when he was at LSU. Coaches have been like that for years. Bunch of Yankee pansies!
