That wasn’t my point.

My point was, there are only two possible good outcomes with DC.

1. Aranda stays, or
2. Venables is his replacement. Anyone else is a step back.

If Aranda is out, O doesn't deserve to make a replacement if our top notch coordinators on both sides of the ball are out after year one. It means there is a major problem internally, one that needs to be removed from the LSU program immediately

What if Texas A&M offered more than $3 million to Aranda. Does LSU counter to make him the first assistant coach making more than a HC? Conflict of interest on LSUs part I would think.

So, to conclude, LSU is an absolute train wreck. Too many hands in the cookie jar. What a shocker.

Every BoS member removed and everyone from FKing down fired. I can dream, right?

I don’t think Aranda leaves, but that’s a ridiculous statement.

There are lots of great coaches out there and I doubt you had ever heard of Aranda before LSU hired him.

Right. My guess is that Aranda’s agent is doing his job and lining up his client for a fat pay hike

The last time I read on the rant “there are lots of great coaches out there,” LSU hired Ed Orgeron.

Forgive me for my lack of confidence in the LSU AD.

No. They counter and make him the HC. Problem solved.

The post was not meant to be incoherent. Just can't go into the greatest detail. Just that I have a connection that is family related. Sometimes they hear things that end up happening sometimes they hear things that could have happened but did not. Don't get 411 all the time but occasionally.

What I already wrote about influential folks and how they feel about O and our coordinators needs no further elaboration. Except that fans on MBs are not the only ones saying to themselves that the thought of Aranda as HC someday, somewhere sounds interesting:). I am sure TBL is being honest and heard something more up to date. He is just being a messenger IMHO and TIFWIW.

There are a lot of brilliant defensive coordinators out there but replacing elite coordinators after year one with a figure head clapping at the helm will not cut it

If we have people wanting out now, LSU will have a major issue attracting top notch staff members. This would look really bad under O if both left at the same time and only after one year.

Of course Arranda would deny everything before the bowl. The Chavis ordeal Is fresh in everyone’s mind.

Especially since that was on the heels of playing ND the last time in Nashville, IIRC.

He's saying there are LSU power brokers who didn't like O's hire in the first place; are looking for reasons to get him fired for cause (supposed fight w/ Canada), and leak crap to ppl who then post it here, in an effort to undermine Orgeron. And that sounds logical to me. In other words, someone has an agenda
