I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see Freeman get picked up by Texas now. We can’t bid with Texas and we were nice and didn’t push it. Watch UT come in and sweep him away.

They saved us from Herman... I’ll allow it.

Chris Ash is a good coach. I think they keep him.

You cannot make a man take a job that he doesn’t want. Doesn’t matter how “nice” you are or how hard you “push”

I would take Freeman in a heartbeat. We need that youth on the field. I have not seen a defense flow to the ball like they did against Florida in a bit. I hope we get him!

What am I missing here? Where did you hear that we offered him and he turned us down?

I don’t have a clue why people think UT is a better job coaching than LSU. LSU will pay just as much, UT is a dumpster fire, and has been for over a decade, and LSU has Waaaaaaay more talent. UT is not the same landing spot as it used to be.

Rumor is keeping Ash or trying to bring in Muschamp. I like Boom a lot but strangely i would much rather us keep Ash.

I think Ash is a good coach too but I'd be nervous for him to come over to LSU. When y'all put your stink on someone they're tainted for the rest of their career. Your career goes to die coaching for Texas.

I didn’t hear that...we just waited to after the bowl game to interview the guy and let other teams start making moves. If Freeman is the hot name I don’t know if we can compete. I like doing interviews but we might of moved faster!

3 consecutive coaches have won national titles. Texas ain’t there....but they think that they are.

Hiring a recovered alcoholic to work for a bunch of mega rich boosters.....what could go wrong? No pressure, Steve.

Bruh, Austin or BR. Where would you go? Where would your wife/family want to be?

One thing I don't think being talked about enough on here is LSU's instability right now as a program for coaching hires.

O is on the hot seat 1 year removed from a NC. They just purged their staff. Major investigations going on within the program. Sure, a model of amazing consistency with 3 NCs with 3 different coaches but right now outside looking in it's turning into a dumpster fire. I wouldn't be shocked if some coaches say thanks but no thanks even if the money is there.

Is O on the hot seat? Or is this the same ole bs on the rant after every disappointing season?

The title 9 investigation is concerning, but we are only facing one level one violation regarding the IARP investigation.

Where the chance for career advancement is. Look at the last decade of results and answer the question. Scenery doesn’t mean shite.

Damn. If that's true shame on O and Woodward.
