No. I still firmly believe he thought that we would win out and he had every intention of naming Orgeron as HC. I have a feeling we weren't pursuing other options as aggressively as we should have been.

I do. I think he knows how much is on the line here and if he fricks up his career is over.

I could very easily see this being the case.

I have a feeling he's gonna do something like he did with Kevin Steele. He'll probably hire Houston Nutt, and wash that turd down with announcing that he's bringing in Major Applewhite as OC or some shite.

I think he had Jimbo last year (good) but held the information about as closely as a teenage girl holds a secret (bad). Nonetheless, his fricktard boss ultimately screwed that up, and is still a factor in Joe's limited ability to get something big done this time around.

On the different levels of mental retardation, Joe is severe and FKing is profound.

Nope. None at all. But to be fair, at least half the fan base will consider whatever he does a screwup as soon as the new guy loses his first game.

No, he did not leak anything and he tried to keep everything on the down low. Folks, have you not been catching up?? It was Stanley Jacobs, BOS member, that is a confirmed person and one other unconfirmed BOS member who leaked it. They had help from a couple of AD employees who disseminated piecemeal information to media and were the so called sources who were being guided by the BOS members. Jacobs part is well known, the second part not so much. I have a relative who is a business associate of a significant TAF member. He has gotten pieces of information here and there over the years but is definitely not a total insider by no means.

I think teh Coach O hire was just to motivate the team and keep morale up. If so it worked pretty well. I cant figure out if Alleva is smart but getting roadblocked by higher ups, or if he's an idiot.

Zero confidence in Alleva. That weasel is very close to blowing this hire.

He has hired poorly in every coaching hire he has made at LSU

This will be no different.

I have confidence in him, but to be honest it is completely unwarranted. I just have a gut feeling that this will work out well for us in the end, but that's not based in any substance.
