I’m sure you were impressed with how disciplined they were, I’m sure you were impressed with how they got better as the season progressed and they weren’t making the same mistakes game 1 as they were game 12. There’s been so much improvement the last 2 years I can see why you’d have reservations about Golding.

If Saban thought enough of him to let him run his defense then he is probably pretty good at his job. At some point you have to blame the players and stop using scapegoats to disguise the fact the defense isn’t nearly as talented as it was a few years ago.
