They coached together twice I believe, once with Miami. And it was rumored before.

He has a DC interview next week, has already turned down 1 P5 DC job and has an offer for a G5... it just depends on how badly he wants to stay here

Someone in the SMU program told me he might be the DC there. Not sure how legit that is but it was a conversation I had yesterday.

His wife is a Louisiana girl (former LSU Soccer player) and they really want to stay. He’d stay at LSU in his present capacity over SMU DC. He’s waiting on BK.

DC under Diaz at LATech and Miami. Attacking defense focused on tackles for loss. Does give up big plays due to the aggressive nature though.
