They'd be stupid for taking him back, but I wonder if he's already trying to get back.

The way he left there...WV would allow him to come interview just so they could ambush and burn him at the stake.

Thought about this. He is definitely in over his head at Michigan, probably would be a good thing for both him and the University to swallow their pride and make it happen.

This.

Those hillbillies were burning him in effigy when he left. Plus, I think the whole protracted buyout thing probably precludes him from ever crossing the WVa state line safely again.

I would forever think less of WVU if they took him back after what he did to them. He may be finished. I think he would be a good fit at Vandy.

Simply put, there is NO WAY West Virginia would take him back...

If Rich Rod and Michigan do part ways, Ole Miss should give Rich Rod serious consideration. He knows the lay of the land, the offense would explode with a few upgrades in talent, and that would be a huge upgrade from the current Idiot.

And Vandy too.

I respectfully disagree. Rich Rod has never been known for his defense and in the SEC, if you don't play defense...you will get stomped.

This is in part why he is not succeeding the Big Ten.

I think they would be stupid NOT to take him back (WINS) - but I understand why they wouldnt (Left them hanging big time)

If I want to win - I take him back in that sad azz conference. If i were there or a WVU fan i would want to slug him in the face - and then let him back in to win games!

Did you watch Auburn play this year? Pretty sure they are dead last in a few Defensive categories in the SEC and near the bottom in total defense, and yet they're playing for the SEC champ this Saturday and the 2 top defenses (LSU and BAMA) are sitting home and watching.

Not unless he wants to be buried there.

RR going back to WVU is like Kiffin going back to TN, just not going to happen.
