He still hasn't received it.

This would require 4D intergalactic chess by Alleva. I am not sure that is possible but

Why would FSU reward Jimbo on the heels of a 3-loss season?

To keep him from going to another school that is willing to pay him more.

What makes you think they want to keep him? He was on the hot seat prior to Winston and has reverted back to the winning percentages that landed him on the hot seat in the first place.

Let's see... maybe three conference championships? Maybe that national championship that he won with Winston? Maybe that playoff appearance? Maybe that solid season his team is currently having with a freshman qb, and a young team?

Btw, his assistants haven't received a raise either.

I'd leave if everyone at fsu dropped the D on my wife (now ex). Come to LSU single and it would be on!

I could vouch and say that the Tinder game on campus is very fortuitous. Come on down Jimbo!

You're not thinking of one major factor for Jimbo agreeing to terms last year: we had a coach who we had the option of keeping (which we did). That was a HUGE bargaining chip for us. Where as this year we are desperate. No way Jimbo and his agent see Coach O as a realistic threat to what he brings to the table when you compare the resumes.

Jumbo has never been "on the hot seat" at FSU. You are a delusional idiot and have no idea what you are talking about.

I guess I can see how the Herman leak could serve to take heat off of Jimbo, but that's such a hard pill to swallow.

I don't know.

Jimbo would be a great fit for LSU.

I still think he is more of a sure thing than Herman, tbh.

Guy loves LSU as well, right?

Rich talent state, known high quality coach, put those two together and you could have something really special.

You should ETA that Jameis Winston cousin was on warchant last night telling people that Jimbo confirmed to Jameis he was leaving.

Like I've said before, how does a smokescreen help in this particular coaching search? Are we really supposed to believe that the smokescreen of us being close to getting Herman helps make Jimbo's situation easier because the attention isn't on him? shite makes no sense. Someone please explain to me how a smokescreen works to anyone's adantage in all this...

Bc Jimbo doesn't want to have to deal with questions about what he is doing until the last possible second when he announces he is leaving.
