Tried to get Jimbo interested, refused to be played by Sexton's games. How many top tier coaches really leave a gig at one of the best jobs in the country?

Had an agreement with Herman's people, they backed out at the 11th hour. Honestly, do we really want a coach that lost to a couple of bullshite teams this season who might jump to the NFL eventually?

O exceeded any expectations. It's his dream to be here, but really that's beside the point. This man completely energized the team and excited the fans when the handcuffs were taken off. He got rid of Cameron and allowed Ensminger's playcalling to set numerous LSU records such as the top 3 rushing games in school history.

Let's let O prove himself and build on this momentum after we crush whatever bowl we get.

The devil you know is better than the one you don't. If O doesn't get it done they will promptly be shown the door.

What would have been better is if he reached out and interviewed more than 2 candidates.

Am I the only one that remembers the shite Show of a program O ran at Ole Miss? Does a Tiger change his stripes? Does a Cajun change his shrimp boots?

No he didn't

He got his feelings hurt by 2 sports agents, that he thought were inferior to his Duke sensibilities

Exceeded all expectations by taking the preseason number 4 team in the country and not beating a single team with a winning SEC record? My god what were the expectations then?

they didn't "back out"

they just said they were going to evaluate a UT offer

then ALLEVA is the one who backed out and threw a temper tantrum

yes

especially when the alternative is a coach who has a terrible record, lost to a bunch of worse teams, and couldn't get a job at a power program like Syracuse

no it's not

and we still got dominated by Bama and lost to UF

No he didn't. shite he kept under performing with every goal they gave him to get the job until they finally lowered it enough.

Yes, when an agreement is verbally done, and one party decides to hesitate and say they won't sign on Saturday, that is called backing out.
