We tore him apart in one thread. All of the defensive coaches that are/were head coaches in college isn’t an exhaustive list especially considering he said it was going to be a home run or big impact type hire. Those are very few. He was exposed.

I actually do think there a good chance of credible leaks with how things have been going

All I know is that the majority of this board runs off the likes of us that actually know something worth its salt.
Why would folks want to continue to provide information when it is immediately met with not just rejection, but hate?
I have a great source. She is a major Baseball donor. Easy to figure out.
Check my post history and you’ll see that I’ve been accurate on Kelly, Woody, the new hires so far.
However with the amount of shite that has been said along the way I’m done trying to be kind. I do wish we had a PM option for the kind folks, but that’s not the case.

I think the radio silence must mean that Saban has signed and all internal communication has shuttered so it doesn’t leak before they’re ready to announce. Think about it

Reading the tealeaves, it sounds like Saban orchestrated some of this deal with Jimmy and Lane as the linchpin.
Dream scenario: some saying it's always been Kiffin or Saban...it's actually both. Saban as Vice Chancellor or head of concessions or whatev and Kiffin as HC. Just saying, if that actually were to happen, in some dream world scenario...WTF, we ridin', we comin', we dropping bombs on everyone.

Scotty ran a tight search and likely took the lead in almost all of it. I’d bet Verge has a lot of hands in this decision process. Verge doesn’t strike me as the independent type. He is more of a company yes man. I’d bet information leaks out soon.
