Aggie folks saying you need to make Dan Campbell say no

When you can go from first place in the NFC to College Station, you have to consider that.

He went there and most Aggies are weirdos that probably think being king of College Station and worshipped by the milkmen is better than being a top NFL coach.

I just don't know if his style works in college but then I've seen Dabo's act do wonders so maybe

Why is it cringe? He’s an alum, worst he can do is say no. It would kind of be malpractice NOT to inquire.

Bc he has Detroit rolling this year

Because it’s retarded

Because the timing is impossible. He’s not leaving the Lions the day after their thanksgiving day game.
Bruce Feldman did double down that Campbell is the dream hire though

In theory you can let him finish the season, why let a few months overshadow what you hope to get for years going forward?

No one is leaving a top NFL situation (however long that may be) for college football.
I understand we like the traditions and all, but it isn’t the same.

How could he show up to coach the lions in the playoffs after accepting the tex am job?
Also, Campbell has never coached in college football

If I were an NFL coach I’d be on the first plane to BR when LSU called

All I’m saying is there’s no reason to not at least try if he would be your #1

LOL He's not leaving a NFL HC gig to go to College Station.

You have to make the call and ask. They'll likely call him to get input anyway. An alum and an NFL coach? He'll be able to give some recommendations.

Aaron Glenn is an under the radar and obviously more realistic candidate. Also played at A&M, will likely get NFL HC interviews this year and might not want to go to college (and has never coached in college). Long shot but not that crazy.
It's way too soon for Jerrod Johnson but he will be a hot assistant name after what's happened with Stroud

Harbaugh and Saban did it too. Although they weren’t coaching teams that were bound for the playoffs and Alabama and Michigan are blue blood programs. A&M isn’t quite a blue blood.

Let me go ahead and clue you in. Dan Campbell is not going to be the next coach at Texas A&M. It’s absolutely absurd.
