I mean it 100% could have been more uncomfortable. It was definitely uncomfortable but it could have been worse.

He has either definitively decided to leave, or he hasn't decided yet.

If he hadn’t decided yet, they wouldn’t have announced a decision announcement on Saturday. He would have left open the possibility of coming to a decision before the Egg Bowl or he wouldn’t have placed a time limit on when he would have a decision. I just don’t see any scenario where staying at OM makes sense given the known facts. That’s what tipped the balance for me toward believing guys like bountyhunter.

If you’ve never watched a Lane Kiffin pc before, this would probably look very odd. That’s a typical press conference for him tho

Nah, it wasn’t. Have seen many of course. Im talking about specifically the way he is managing the questions around him staying or leaving. Twas awkward for everyone

Super uncomfortable. As has been said, it may be that he hasn’t made up his mind yet but, if he has, he isn’t sharing. He seemed rather depressed in some ways. No happiness or excitement about whatever his future may be.

Yes, that is a good point.

The only reason I can see is that Keith Carter and he agreed to wait until after the Egg Bowl to decide or announce anything just to try to keep the focus on the game and not deal with a potential coaching change days before.

Then why wait to after playing Mississippi State. It’s just State. Who gives a shite.

It was always stupid. Even the biggest troll wouldn’t put their school through that right before one of the biggest games in their history
