Saban.

Kelly is an awesome hire. Glad to have him in Baton Rouge.

Honestly, I would have slightly preferred Riley. I was looking forward to a high-powered offense (recognizing his defensive deficiencies). Also might have been a bit more excited with Rhule mainly due to being younger but likely to stay long-term if he made the move from NFL. But Kelly is much more accomplished. I'm thrilled with BK.

what a dumb scenario to sleep on. It's not every day a coach with BK resume at a historic powerhouse like ND leaves for another job. That's it. It's a great hire, whether he wins 80% of his games or not. There's truly no better hire at the time of a press conference than Brian Kelly.

Saba, Meyer, and idk who else. Great hire after dwelling on it.

Rhule or Dabo (only because they are younger and prob won't bounce to the NFL after they would take the job).

I would've said Riley a few days ago, due to age, but after hearing some of the stories out there in the past couple days, I don't think he is really cut out for the SEC. He's a better fit out west.

Aranda, but I love the hire. I also think Napier would have been a great hire & great recruiter in LA, but think BK is less risky. Aranda is worth the risk IMO.

No one.

Frankly, to begin with, Kelly wasn't even on my radar. Then, when the news broke my initial response was "I don't hate it."

However, after seeing his complete resume, and sleeping on the matter, I'm thrilled and can't think of any realistic candidate who would've been a better choice.

Anybody?

Belichick. That’s it. And I know there’s not a chance in hell that would ever happen.

I believe Kelly is going to be that good for our program.

BK is a Tier 1 guy though. We're lucky to have him. The hire could've been a shitshow.

Sexier hire? Riley

Safer hire? Kelly
