Hang on, you’re listening to coach’s response to the media as the word of God?

O had the stigma of being a good recruiter but erratic , loose cannon, & not a strategist for with offense or defense.

He absolutely deserves credit for coordinating what happened in 2019. He identified and hired Brady, he promoted Dave Aranda to assistant head coach and kept him.

2020 it was obvious either
1. He made lazy hires at coordinator
Or
2. Too coordinators had no interest in working for him.
He lost the team, couldn’t inspire people to play. And was depleted by opt outs.

2021- He still wasn’t able to attract top coordinators with an open checkbook. The kids continued to play with very little physicality and uninspired. Soon after the injuries start and the opt outs begin. All of this while the offensive & defensive play calling has been very vanilla and not the best.

I’m sure it was obvious to Woody after 2020 when O couldn’t hire a top coordinator, couldn’t keep his home life from interfering with football ops, and couldn’t win games when he had superior talent it was never going to turn around.

Were you expecting these coaches to tell the media that they were excited for the opportunity to interview for the LSU job or something?

It just confirms that they were not contacted about the job, and are sorta butthurt

Other coaches are seeing that the expectations of this fanbase may be unrealistic. So could it be harder for Woodward to get his guy with coaches seeing the huge expectations?

Bunch of pussies, just like BlackAngus - a cow fricker.

I'm in the minority, but I think it will be tougher than some think.

Remember, we had all these options in addition to Coach O and they all declined or went elsewhere.

Kiffin would walk to BR for the LSU job. He knows how big he would win here. Let's just hope our ad knows it too.

You have to be a retard to take anything a coach says at face value when asked about another job.

Do you just say yea I love that place across the street that has a job opening openly at your job? No, you deny and skirt around that at your current employer until you have an offer.

They made remarks like "O is a championship coach only 2 years removed" and "Some of the greatest coaches in history weren't consistent" and "its a tough business".

Not being consistent is one thing. Going from a national champion to Curley Hallman in less than two years is another.
