So, the results don't really matter. That's cool. Some folks are afraid to admit it.

You are talking to a guy who adamantly stated that Trent Johnson was the best coach of the big 3 at LSU (Miles, Mainieri, Johnson).

He's just one of those guys. You'd be better off to just ignore his opinions.

Harbaugh belongs in college football and his roots run deep in Ann Arbor. I can't see him in the NFL. Sure, his brother is there, but they're not the same person.

this x10000 he has said as much in interviews.

according to some Michigan sources (can't remember where I read this but apparently their top 3 is:

1. Harbaugh

2. Hoke

3. Miles

Hoke would be a mistake.

Schefter has been saying Harbaugh to Michigan for months now. God if someone had a list of all the things Adam Schefter had been wrong about...

I doubt Harbaugh wants to deal with the mess he'd have to clean up there. He runs a pro style offense and a 4-3 defense. Michigan has nothing but spread option and 3-3-5 players. He'd need at least 3 years just to get his players in and Michigan has shown already that they have no patience even when a guy does improve his win total.

The NFL makes more sense for Harbaugh, but unless someone throws a shitton of money at him, I don't see him leaving Stanford in the next 2-3 years.

So, you're saying only a read option can only go in there and win immediately?

You mean when he doesn't improve his win total?

Who should Michigan go after? Explain in great detail.

the list would be INCREDIBLY short.

He is right over 95% of the time and is easily the most reliable member of the media.

I tihnk he wouldn't mind as its his alma mater.
DOn't forget where was Stanford before he got there?

I think they would be patient with someone worth being patient with. To me RR hasn't shown anything worth waiting for in Michigan, not to mention many people never wanted him in the first place.

supposedly Schefter tweeted that SF is looking at M Lewis as well. JH is their top guy. I just found a link since I had only read it from someone on the UM board. LINK

could be interesting.

I think Lewis is a good coach but they desperately need a GM in Cincy.

Rooney. No other explanation possible.

Absolutely NO WAY we hire a defensive-minded coach anyway.

anybody ever hear of the Big Lead? this post referenced the Harbaugh deal falling apart. However the UM admin said that Brandon hasn't done a deal with Harbaugh (basically was backtracking his previous statement saying otherwise), and that no deal would be done until sometime tomorrow or Thursday at the latest...

here is the Big Lead blog link LINK
