Verge and Freeman are friends. He's getting Freeman a pay raise at ND. That's all that is there.

I know this is laughable. He contradicts what he says in 2 sentences. How anyone still believes anything he says you must be very gullible.

The only guy on here who actually has sources is SuperFanDan since he seems to have been the only one who nailed BK long before anyone else knew.

With Lane Kiffin, I think there is only one person who knows what's going to happen. And I don't even think he knows... yet. They have a bye week next week, so we shall see..

Florida LSU and Ole Miss. all 3 would make him the highest paid coach in the sport.
No not 4.5M more than Kirby or whatever was said earlier.

A question I have for you or anybody else: how would this play out exactly? If Lane agreed to leave for LSU or UF, would they announce something in the next few weeks before the regular season is over? Before the playoffs?

If so, I assume he'd have to leave Ole Miss immediately rather than finishing out the season because their fans would revolt. With that much money involved, anything is possible, but it's still hard to envision the coach of a top-10, playoff-bound team bailing like that (though it is easier to envision if it's Kiffin).

All he said was it was very real stuff was being discussed

It’s fair to think talks could’ve broken down since then

Excellent post, cheeseteak.

It could be Ole Miss, or Florida, or maybe even LSU.

Great work on this piece.

I can confirm this
Trusted sources are saying Kliff Kingsbury has signed the contract to coach Florida in 2026

Not officially announced yet because situation is fluid but there is smoke

Man I think Kingsbury would be a terrible signing for you guys. That's temu Kiffin without the motivation. Sucked everywhere as a HC and even as an OC now, seems checked out after 1 season when his offense looks good then regresses.
