Saxon Tales series by Bernard Cornwell.

I love historical fiction and I blew threw the first five of these. Great reads. Currently on 7 and the series is still going strong, although it gets a bit repetitive.

Have been reading Herodotus, while reading a mix of some others.
Just read about a pharaoh who had a rebellion start up against him. The rebel leader when he was asked to come before the Pharaoh farted and told the messenger to take that to him.
Some stuff in the book is right, some is wrong. Im not sure which it is in this case but I could see someone doing that

Is the Brad Thor Scot Harvath series good reads? I'm on the last book in my series and looking for a new series.

YES!! I love his books. Also the Mitch Rapp series by Vince Flynn/Kyle Mills.

You can also check out Sean Parnell and Jack Carr. Both are veterans who write in the same vein as Thor and Mills. Sean Parnell wrote a non-fiction book, Outlaw Platoon, about his time as a platoon leader in Iraq and he recently published his first fiction book, Man of War. Jack Carr's protagonist is a Navy SEAL, as is Jack Carr.

Walk This Way- Run DMC, Aerosmith and the Song That Changed Music Forever’ very interesting. I was too young to realize what was going on when it came out, but the story behind he song and what it meant for modern rap/hip-hop is fascinating.

Got the latest 2 Douglas Preston/Lincoln Child books on tap once I’m done with this
