re: Intermittent Fasting experiences? - sportsguy88
Hahaha. Ehh it happens. I was just wondering about it. I feel like I have been focusing better and getting a good amount of studying in while fasting. I’ll see how I do in the upcoming weeks with it so test day, I am ready to go. Thank y’all again! ...

re: Intermittent Fasting experiences? - sportsguy88
Probably a dumb question, but I am wondering if you are able to drink 5 hour energy while in the fasting period. I usually drink coffee and that works perfect. I have to take a 9 hour test in about a month and we get a couple of breaks in between. Figured at about the halfway point, I would like som...

re: Thoughts on Farseer Trilogy? - sportsguy88
Love the trilogy. Finished it about a year ago. Haven’t read any of the other trilogies along with it. A friend has read all the associated books with it and said the first is the best as well. I do agree I thInk it falls through the cracks but definitely a good trilogy. I like the magic syst...

Best Book on Teddy Roosevelt - sportsguy88
I am currently about to finish up Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson. I want to start getting into more biographies and Teddy Roosevelt always piqued my interest from school. There is so many books on him and I thought about reading Morris books, but I just wanted some suggestions on a good book about...

re: Intermittent Fasting experiences? - sportsguy88
Thank you for that. There is so many conflicting reports out there on BCAAs and IF. But that makes sense about elimination time and being back in fasted state. I never realized that. I was going to start this week not taking BCAAs and just staying fasted (other than black coffee) until I eat at 1. B...

re: Intermittent Fasting experiences? - sportsguy88
I think I am going to stop taking the BCAAs and see if I notice a difference too soon. While I definitely miss a good post-workout meal, it really has not been as bad as I thought. I do have to workout later in the day sometimes so I get my post workout meal in then which makes it even better. ...

re: Intermittent Fasting experiences? - sportsguy88
I am about 2.5 months into IF. Still really enjoying it. Ive progressed to pretty much doing 18:6 during the week, but sometimes longer depending on work schedule. I also am trying to stay relatively low carb and higher protein and fat. I really have noticed that I have dropped some body fat % durin...

re: Anyone else make the switch to French's Ketchup? - sportsguy88
I’ve been using Srirachi Ketchup. I think they use hunt’s in it which doesn’t have HCFS. But I like Heinz Organic and add my own hot sauce...

re: Intermittent Fasting experiences? - sportsguy88
Sorry to hear about your son. Flu is crazy. We see so much of it. But I still need to get the portions right also. I still feel hungry after my first meal but I think I’m slowly getting better with it. Trying to fit in enough calories during the window is tough some days. ...

re: Intermittent Fasting experiences? - sportsguy88
How is IF going for everyone who has given it a try? It’s definitely getting easier for me, but toward the end of 16 hours, my stomach is calling for food big time. However, this past week I did an 18 and 20 hour fast (not by my choice but because of work) and it really wasn’t as bad as I thought it...

re: Intermittent Fasting experiences? - sportsguy88
I just completed my first week of IF. I’ve been wanting to try it for a while but as most have said I didn’t think I could. I love breakfast and am hungry in the morning but it’s not been as bad as I thought. Just drink some coffee or tea. I usually workout 4-5x/week and so far I’ve found my workout...

The Licanius Trilogy - sportsguy88
Just finished the second book of this trilogy and I loved it! I can’t wait to see where the third book brings us. It has a pretty cool magic system and good character building. First book is The shadow of what was lost and second is Echo of Things to come. Anyone else read or have read this se...

re: Need Antiperspirant Advice - sportsguy88
I had a big problem with sweating under the arms and I tried quite a few antiperspirants that did not work for me. I had a recommendation to just try Old Spice deodorant without the antiperspirant and I have found that to work pretty well. It did not stop it completely, but I found it less with jus...

re: Running shoes for half-marathon - sportsguy88
I went to varsity sports and tried on a few different pair. I’ve heard so many good things with brooks but when I tried them on, I felt the arches in every pair. Just a weird feeling. Eventually I’ll try the altra’s. I’ve just run 4 miles and now 8 miles in my Nike Pegasus and I like how they fe...
