I loved that series but after reading the whole thing I was ready to take a break from any kind of fiction for a while.

I'm reading the Case for Jesus by Brandt Pitre. I've been into biblical history lately.
Houma boy, one of the most eminent and yet readable Biblical scholars out there today. Great classroom teacher, as well.

I enjoyed the Plantagenets. Too bad I have a poor memory. I need to reread it.

Just finished Norwegian Wood by Murakami. Might have just jumped to the top of my Murakami favorites just ahead of South of the Border, West of the Sun. Did such a great job with the characters and story arc. Gonna watch the film next.

The Once and Future King

Realised at the book store I've never read it, so grabbed a copy.

I'm glad I did.

Medieval fiction is my favorite genre but I couldn't get into this classic. Maybe I should give it another shot. Meanwhile, I'm reading Pulitzer winner "A Confederacy of Dunces" and it's making my valve close. I'm gonna stick with it though.
