When I was younger I loved to read, now unfortunately there is not much time to read. Do you really have time for more than 10 books a year? oh my god you are cool)))))

I'm slightly disappointed in my reading goals this past year. Having a 1 year old is really cutting into my reading time. Additionally, I am learning a new language so that also cuts into my reading time.

Hopefully I can do better in 2019. I have a better spread of books to keep me motivated.

Where does someone get the time to read this much? With a full time job and a family, there is no way I could even read half that many books in a year.

Hit my goal about a month ago. Over 30. Next year i'm going to do 40.

I usually DVR everything i want to watch on TV. I read about a half hour each night for sure, then on days i don't need to get up early i read half hours in the morning.

Weekends I read probably hour plus a day

That gives me about 6-7 hours a week which is enough to kill off a lot of 300 page books. Then when I travel/holiday/vacation there's even more time

Are you going to do this for 2019? I'll join, if so. I read a lot this year but never made a list. I'll wait for new edition and will be taking a lot of ideas from these lists.

Download the app goodreader and track your reading on there as well. All your friends from Facebook and whatnot will be on there as well so you can see what they are reading. There is also a reading challenge on there.

I don't watch TV. And I read really fast.

I am currently reading my 82nd book of the year, so I am going to end up around 84.

Damn. I've really struggled down the stretch. Started watching more tv and reading less.

Also, got bogged down reading "House of Leaves" starting in September, and still haven't finished it.

It is a very ambitious work...that’s for sure. I like the parts with Johnny just emptying his mind into the page and found some of the footnote stuff funny, but the parts that try to be an objective analysis of the event are tough to get through.
