re: Reading Challenge 2018
As extremely hectic as my life is right now, I’ll be happy to read 1 book a month. We’ll see how that goes.

re: Reading Challenge 2018
I usually do 40-60 per year. Doubt I will have as much time in the first 6 months as I’ve had previously, so:

Goal: 40

1. The drifter - Nicholas Petrie, 375
2. It - Stephen King, 1116. In progress. And it’s been a slog so far but starting to move now.

This is also a good way to get some killer recommendations.

I'm getting tired of Thor. Any short novels y'all would recommend to read today? Fiction would be ideal

re: Reading Challenge 2018
I don't have a set goal in mind, but this thread could come in handy for keeping track of my readings.

So far in 2018:
1. Oathbringer - Brandon Sanderson, 1248 pp. (Hardcover) (Started in late December, but finished in January)
2. The Aeronaut's Windlass - Jim Butcher, 768 pp. (Paperback)
3. Warbreaker - Brandon Sanderson, 676pp. (Paperback) (Reread. Had been wanting to read it again, and then Oathbringer really made me want to read it again.)

If you like sci fi at all - foundation, foundation and empire and second foundation are three great books all under three hundred pages. I don't read much sci fi and really enjoyed them, very smart writing which moves along quickly and a ton happens in those 275 or so pages.

I'm still struggling through my second of the year (first start to finish 2018 book) about halfway through - only 600 pages to go.

Need to step my game up this month. Only have 4 completed so far.

Also, if anyone would be interested in loaning kindle books to each other I? have a pretty decent collection of sci/fi and fantasy books I? can lend out

I commute 4.5 hours per day(I don’t drive):

Therefore I have plenty of time to read. My only competition is answering emails and watching replays of LSU games on ESPN app. I’m also writing a screenplay.

I’ll set a goal of 48 books.

re: Reading Challenge 2018
After a nice little intro to the year I’ve decided to throw a curveball into my challenge. After close to two years of stepping away from the series I’m going to return to The Wheel of Time. Starting A Crown of Swords today. Good luck everyone that is continuing their 2018 challenge.
