I'm going to be pissed if TWoW comes out later than 2015.

Don't know how many of us read the reddit posts, but this crackpot theory is worth a look. I'm impressed, anyway...

That's good stuff I haven't seen touched on. I've been trying to figure out what LF was doing and this makes perfect sense. Has Littlefinger written all over it.

There is a ton of foreshadowing in Sweetrobin destroying Sansa's snow castle of Winterfell that we have yet to see

I think its a bit of a combo of post shadowing and foreshadowing. Littlefinger is the giant that has torn down Winterfell, and Sansa will kill him and put his head on a spike at Winterfell.

Holy shite, that is one of the best theories I've ever read.

I agree. I didn't really know how to describe a metaphor for things that have already happened

And if Sweetrobin actually is LF's true child, that ups Littlefinger's evil up to 11.

This was mentioned by me in the Maesters thread; why is Littlefinger basically whispering now when he speaks? Is there a valid reason for it? Does Littlefinger have some sort of voice condition or disease we don't know about that will be revealed in TWoW? Because his voice didn't sound like that at all in S1 and has progressively become more whispery as the seasons have progressed.

I don't see how it takes so long to write these books, unless he himself doesn't knopw where it's going and just makes it up as he goes along.

I mean it has to be the longest one series has ever dragged out.

Wheel of Time took 23 years to get finished. Lord of the Rings I believe took 25 years for Tolkien to write (though they were released all at once so no wait for that one). Not that I am defending GRRM's crap writing pace and weakening quality of writing at the same time, but unfortunately it has happened before. Hell, Pat Rothfuss is arguably worse than Martin, he's been putting out books at 4-5 year intervals since book one.

That being said, I think Martin gets the next book out before season 6 of the series starts to be filmed.

In the show, Tyrion tells Jaime that "Sansa's not a killer, not yet anyway", right before they cut to the scene with Sansa on the ship with LF. The implied foreshadowing is that she will become one at some point.

I'm not ready to jump on the LF handing Sweetrobin over to a known child molester theory, but I do agree that LF has no intention of ever actually marrying Sansa to anyone, he wants her for himself. If he does marry her to Harry the Heir, Harry will die in short order.

On the deaths in TWOW, when you tell a story in POV, you have to actually have at least one character for each storyline, so with so many plots and subplots in the last two books, Martin needed a lot of characters. Once the storylines converge (and they are going that way already) characters will either die or simply cease to be POV characters. Looking at Dany, Tyrion, Barristan and Victarian, for example, you now have two major POV characters and two minor POV characters in the same place. Martin could kill off Victarian, keep Barristan as a character with an occasional POV if needed for backstory, and drop the number of POV chapters for both Tyrion and Dany (especially Dany). Only one POV character in that storyline dies, but the story is still told with fewer chapters needed.

I'd prefer the Tyrion Dany storyline to be told from Tyrion's POV (despite how much of a bore his ADWD chapters were).

Which makes Dany more interesting, someone describing a beautiful blonde straddling a dragon and wrecking shite or us in her head hearing her fantasize about fricking a guy with blue hair?

When Dany and Tyrion meet though, I do want it to be from Dany's POV. Just when Tyrion calls her out on all her bullshite and her thoughts on looking at him would, for once, be a good POV for Dany to have.

That is true. Is she going to lock him up when she firsts meets him since he's a Lannister and a Kinslayer?

Well, he'll probably be with Jeorah, so she'll have at least one other person there who is on her bad list.

If Tyrion turns out to be a Targ, he isn't a kinslayer.

I really, really hope Tyrion, Jaime, and Cersei are all Tywin's kids. I hate the "Jaime and Cersei or Tyrion are Aerys's kids" theory.

If it is true King Tommen Baratheon, who is believed to be 100% pure Lannister, is really a product of twin dragon spawn & is therefore rightful hier to the Iron Throne. ????
