The Others are what the white walkers are called in the books.
Books-Others
Show-white walkers
The wights are zombies brought back from the dead

What's the difference between wights and white walkers?
wights are the reanimated dead people. White Walkers look like the thing that picked up the baby last night.

So was the baby turned into a Wight or a White Walker

those were Wights, and they were brought in.
So you're saying the wights must be brought in to pass the magical barrier?
Then what's the point in the giant wall? Why not just put a small wall with the magical barrier inside it?

I'm going with white walker.
It's their way of giving life. Like the drowned god and the red gods life after death.

wights aren't magical. IDK we all read the same books.
They were dead people when they crossed the wall and woke up wights, I didn't make up the back story, I just know what I read.
leads me to think Cold hands is an Other. Maybe the great other.
BTW where or what is Benjen Stark?

All of these gods power over death has to be related somehow
Like they're all one in the same...

Is it just me or does it seem like 2 more books just wont be enough to wrap everything up?

I said that to help back up my theory that the wights and white walkers are the good guys. That they built the wall to keep the south out of the north

They infiltrated the wall to kill the commander who was sending out rangers into their territory. Kill the commander, stop the rangers, stop intruders into their lands.
Also the wights and white walkers may have a way to see into the future like the red women and knew he was about to lead a massive ranger party into their lands. They were trying to stop that.

With last night's reveal we now know it's a good possibility he's been changed to an Other.

I thought in the books it had some kind of magic protecting it and that kept certain things, like Coldhands from crossing.
It indeed does have magic- years ago I asked Ran about an Arya chapter (Feast? Dance?) Where one of the surviving dire wolf siblings couldnt be touched by her mind...wasn't dead, just "silent" or "gone" during a warg session...He replied that Ghost, being beyond the wall, was beyond telepathic reach due to spells in the Wall.
And i wouldn't be a bit surprised if man is the evil the wall is meant to protect against.

fricking M. Knight Shamalan ending would piss me off.
Like if the last episode we see a Plane fly by and lost begins or something or the whole thing was a dream in the Matrix.

or he could be the Stark in Winterfell

If you mean Benjen is the mysterious man who recognized Theon at Winterfell...i just don't see Ben walking past without taking his befrigged head with him. But that's just me...
Someone brought up a chicken or the egg thing with magic's return and dragons/ others...The Others appeared during the Prologue of Thrones, dragons not born till the end of the book, so...hmmmm....
