my bad, damn Targ family lines mess me up. I meant Dany. so yeah that would be his aunt, though he would be older than her.

It showing the WW don't kill the babies seems to be significant. Before they showed that i just assumed they killed and maybe ate the babies.

Wouldn't surprise me if the white walkers are the good guys that purge the north of its 'evil'.

Maybe the Others erected the Wall to keep the evil of Westeros out of their land/cities? We all know there is plenty of evil in Westeros

If the Others are good, then why does a 60 story 300 mile long wall separate them?

Because the north enjoys their wicked ways?

The white walkers are the purge of the evil in the north. After they recede, only the strong remain

I can see that. But over time those in the north assumed it was to keep the wildlings out. I mean that wall wouldn't hold up against an all out assault by white walkers. But it would hold back those in the north

It prevents an attack from wildlings. But it doesn't stop them from climbing or crossing it. Maybe there is something inside the Wall that keeps the Others from crossing it

I thought in the books it had some kind of magic protecting it and that kept certain things, like Coldhands from crossing.

quote:

According to myth, there are old spells woven into it, to strengthen it and keep creatures of a magical nature such as the Others from passing it.

On another note imagine if we today had family linage as long as in ASOIAF. I mean the Starks can trace their lineage back 8,0000 years. That's crazy.

That's like one of us being able to trace lineage back to someone who built the pyramids.

Correct. Lots of theories as to what that is. A big one is that there's an ice dragon inside the Wall. I'm leaning that way as well

False. They were wights.

White walkers = frozen, blue-eyed creatures
Wights = humans that have turned into zombie like creatures with black hands
Others = The 13 figures we saw last night

Has always been my understanding that Others = WW. They came up with the term WW for the show only.

What's the difference between wights and white walkers? Thought they're one in the same...
