Ight folks. About to finish the ASoS reread with my notes. Question is, because I do plan on sharing these notes with all and will have my theories, and the subtleties I picked up on, should I Boiled Leather these notes or just keep it real?

quote:That's kind of what i meant, I didn't do a good job making that clear. Maybe Jon Snow, but not Dany. The composers are R+L with Jon Snow being their song. So we kind of agree
So to me that means that the Song of Ice and Fire is at least not about R & L. I think its really about Jon Snow being the result of R & L but I can see where it may lead people to believe it means Jon Snow(Ice) ends up with Dany(Fire)

It was at The Republic in Nola. The GF got a picture sitting in it. I was too drunk to think about getting a picture

Yes, yes, and do Boiled Leather reread

And anybody doing a reread I highly recommend the Boiled Leather version. There's an adaptation of the Boiled Leather version called A Ball of Beasts. Not sure where you can find it. I have it downloaded on my phone but not sure how to send it to anybody else. Anyway after you read the two books combined you will wonder why the hell GRRM didn't just write the books this way

Exactly; and next 2 seasons are going to take the Boiled Leather approach. It's going to be great
and the pacing/sequencing of stories/events will be much better.

Apparently GRRM just finished up the last of "The World of Ice and Fire". Said he'd "bidding Farewell to the Iron Islands". Thought that was interesting.

Eh I think that was just the last part of WOIAF that he had to finish. Highly doubt it's anything to do with the story

Do I watch the last 5 minutes of Amizing Race, or watch the trailer? Damn not having DVR.

You can always find it on YouTube within a minute of it airing.

Yea I figured. In the mean time, I can't decide whether to start my first full reread or if I should go back and just read ASOS. I know I won't get through it by the time the show starts if I start at the beginning.
