Honestly, I found this scene last season where Tyrion and Sansa are having an actual pleasant conversation a bit distracting from how it was in the novels ( LINK), and I'm just guessing that's a meal they'll have together in the first episode to show that Sansa has completely cut Tyrion off since the Red Wedding.
I found that scene to be out of character for Sansa. I blame the writers.
Definitely think after the scene in the finale when Tyrion finds her crying that she'll want nothing to do with him, even though Tyrion had nothing to do with the Red Wedding, but he's a Lannister. No idea how they'll have Dontos bring her to Littlefinger either because we all knew they were meeting in the Godswood in the books.

Target's website has a sneak peak at the Battle of Quhor special feature from the History of Westeros. I'm sure someone will upload the new S3 Histories of Westeros on youtube when the bluray is released in 2 weeks.
Go to link, click on Battle of Qohor

As sure as the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, ladytiger118 will bump this thread.

We need a got countdown on top this board

Definitely agree that we need a GoT countdown on here. Hodors may get mad though.

Getting tired of pandering to a group of people who are too lazy to open a book. I was a Hodor for all of 5 days before I received my books and went to town. Especially from any of them that say "I can't wait I'll next season." Really, you can't wait? Well how about you hop on down to your local bookstore pick up the books and put that Dr. Seuss reading level of yours to the test before you mention not being able to wait.

I read all 5 in about 5 weeks. Couldn't put them down.

Each of the first 4 books took me two weeks/book last year to read. I couldn't put them down. However, ADWD took me 3 months to read because of grad school and because I knew Fat Man wouldn't have TWoW out for another 2 years, so there was no rush to finish it/it's not as if both TWoW and ADoS were out to read.
Also, I already knew about everything that was going to happen in ADWD because I had read the AWOIAF and was spoiled on everything in ADWD. I couldn't resist; once I found out about Jon getting stabbed I had to know everything else
. That's mainly why I want to do that Boiled Leather reread soon--because I know that combining AFFC and ADWD will probably help with the pacing and make the storyline more streamlined.

I don't understand why they don't want to read the books either. If it weren't for the books I would've grown even more impatient waiting than I already have this past year.. It's already sad that I have to post on here and the ASOIAF forums to discuss the series with fellow fans, while we all have to wait and wait and wait and rehash and rehash the same theories over and over again

Finishing up SoS.
I'm to the point where Jon is meeting with Stannis. And Jamie just freed Tyrion.
Holy crap this book got REAL. I feel like the show is going to break away from the book a good bit for season 4. Although the teaser trailer definitely has Tyrion in jail.
No joke my heart was jumping big time during the Mountain and dornishman fight scene. I saw it coming though a mile away though when he started taunting the mountain, I was like crap, this isn't going to end well. That was some good reading.
Does this thread have book 5 spoilers?

Both 4 and 5, so I'd tread lightly. I got a big thing spoiled for me because I started reading this thread liberally when I was at your point.

I thought he was going to kill him so Tyrion could go to Dorne, crown Myrcella, and then start the war all over again. Didn't go that way.

Yea I'm treading lightly. I'm only looking at posts that are directly replied to me.
Norah being banned was a surprise, I probably should have saw coming though.

You finish the chapter where Jaime freed Tyrion?
Posted on 2/4/14 at 10:48 pm to OMLandshark
I stopped mid chapter to come here :
He and Varys are in the boat. I'm also on the phone with my girlfriend who is out of town.

Finish the chapter tonight and give us your thoughts.

Sorry I had to talk to my girl, I hate stopping mid chapter...
WHOA. That was awesome. One of my favorite lines was earlier in the book was at the end of a chapter and Tyrion was thinking to himself "see what a quick learner I am father." That is a game changer though, wow.
Tyrion is a badass, I'm glad he choked share too, screw her traitor self.
Jamie getting a fresh start is going to be pretty sweet too. I actually thought he was going to bone her before he sent her off. I love those two's story line. That was pretty cool to give her the sword.
