I'm pretty confident that Doran is not a child molester. I just think he has a very sad history and seeing the innocence of childhood without their worries is one of the few things that makes him cope with it.

The first time I read the description of Doran Martell, I couldn't help but think of Torgo from Manos the Hands of Fate.
Also, I can't remember what interview I saw a few weeks ago, but I remember GRRM saying that by the time the show catches up with ADwD that he should be half way through A Dream of Spring. So, I think we're looking at late next year.
