Had an encounter today that I should've capitalized on.

If I have read any they must not have been very effective.

check out the Sci-Fi/Fantasy Recommendation & Discussion Thread - it will definitely help you talk with women.

Its true, just get down on one knee and tell them you would quest through the blighted lands, slay an elient and return with all its hearts to win her favor.

1. Be yourself- women see through the bullshite.
2. Ask questions and listen more than you talk. Actually listen not wait to talk.
3. Learn to read people not just women. If she not into you, she’s not and being suave ain’t gng to change that.
4. Do things in your daily life that make you interesting/give you value. Work on yourself first and women will notice. Ex. Hobbies, exercise, travel, volunteer in the community, join organizations. This is the easiest thing to learn/do.
#3 may be the hardest to learn and may be the types of books you should be searching for.
Good luck. It’s a big ol world full of women.

there are a ton, they probably suck.
I can give you a few tips....
1 - Listen more than you talk
2 - Have a few stock jokes that you can drop anytime. Not like 3 rabbis walk into a bar but more one liners
3 - Do interesting things, and let that come out. Don't say, oh I hiked kiliminjaro instead say "I hurt my knee last year and boy does it still hurt." How did you hurt it? Oh, hiking kiliminjaro
Other than that, be yourself.

Dale Carnegie is good for opening conversations with people in general. A lot of sales people take the class to help them relate to customers

There are many theories, but none of them work.

If you need to read a book to help you with this, you already have no chance.

The Game by Strauss.
If anything it will give you confidence to approach women and teach you that failure is OK.

If there are books like that, I wouldn't trust a single one of them.

The Rational Male by Rollo Tomassi is a great collection of material that will make you reevaluate how you look at women and what they want.
That being said, be confident and act like you don't give a shite.

Breathe and visualize success beforehand.

The Lay Guide
My buddy used to swear by this book. I never tried any of it but made for some funny toilet reading from what I remember.

Shoot for humorous rather than funny. Use interesting/offbeat topics from the OT Lounge as conversation starters.
