Thought they'd go ahead and drop us to 7 or 8.

Not surprised but still don’t think we can hold off a 1-loss Pac 12 or a 1-loss Oklahoma.

It’s way down the list but how the hell is USC ranked at all?

Still at 5! Guess there’s only two things left to do: Beat the shite out of Auburn, and..

The bottom of these committee rankings are always half assed

A&M will be ranked next week after they knock off Georgia

I don’t think so. I think they manipulate the bottom of the rankings as needed to justify some decisions at the top if needed (eg if they want to give the PAC 12 contenders another “ranked win”). Not saying they go crazy with it but it plays into the close calls.

Not at all. They aren't going to drop us just because Tua got hurt.

All of the crap is why we need to drop the committee. There is no rhyme or reason to what they are doing.

What crap? I don't see anything wrong with the Top 7

They are positioning the PAC 12 to jump into the 4th spot. USC is a 4 loss team, and they moved them up jumping some teams into the top 25

It is a little odd that A&M is 7-3 with losses to Top 15 teams and isn't ranked 23rd or something.

Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

This kind of logic is just wrong. I hear it a lot, but the reality is - nobody ranks from the bottom up, including the committee. The bottom teams have no effect on the top, because they are ranked after the top teams.

Doesn’t matter if it’s bottom to top or top to bottom , they still ranked them there for a reason IMO. A&M has losses to Clemson , Bama and Auburn and not ranked

Why are Utah or Oregon ranked so high? No ranked wins for either. Utah lost a 4 loss USC team and struggled vs another UR team. Besides the AU loss, Oregon also had a number of unimpressive unranked wins.

Put your own rankings together and tell me how the bottom tiered teams influences your top rankings.
