On Wednesday, former Rice quarterback Shawqi Itraish announced on social media that he has committed to Ole Miss.

The former three-star prospect from Braden River High School in Bradenton, Fla., just completed his redshirt junior season with the Owls.

Shawqi has appeared in eight games over the past two seasons, completing 24 of 25 passes for 216 yards, zero touchdowns, and six interceptions.
