You’re not as talented as talented as them Darrell. That’s why.

I could see defensive players keeping their spots, since pulling flags is more nuanced than tackling. But no reason real QBs and WRs shouldn’t come take the offensive duties. It’s like a light practice for them

There are numerous players that are fantastic 7 on 7 players, but doesn't translate over to college or NFL stardom, though it does for several. These are the players that don't make it in college or NFL will be the stars of flag football.

Take a guy like JJefferson, who makes an insane amount of money. Why would he risk injury for a gold medal in a sport that has no business being in the Olympics in the first place?

More likely it will be guys whose names we recognize, but who have recently retired. I doubt we see active NFL players risking their careers. The collective bargaining agreement probably wouldn't allow such a thing.

The NFL pushed for flag football, of course you will see active NFL players trying.

Flag football wouldn't even exist if not for NCAA and NFL football. This dude is delusional.

ain't no way the US is gonna let the same thing happen in flag football that it did for 3x3 basketball, and that's field a shitty team that doesn't really compete...

I remember when only "amateurs" competed in the Olympics. I must be old. Things have changed.

That’s a crappy thing to say about a guy who sacrificed to bring an American sport to the Olympics, and will likely get little out of it.

But he’s not Justin Jefferson or TyDVeek Hill so I guess his opinion doesn’t matter. Let the guys who are already rich and famous get even more of the spotlight, amiright?
