Yuki is one of the smaller stature F1 drivers, if not the smallest.

At this point, it has to be intentional.

I would say F1 drivers are elite. If you disagree, get to know an F1 steering wheel, then report back to us in a couple months after you learn how to work it in race conditions.

Vision, brain processing speed and reaction time are all elite aspects of F1 drivers that are between the ears. They don't have to be tremendous physical specimens, but they have to have enough strength and endurance to execute all those reactions for the entire race.

Tsunoda elite? Bit of a stretch.

The worst F1 driver is arguably better than any NASCAR champ.

@Vox. No argument there. Well, except Nicholas Latifi. That guy was terrible.

Shows how ignorant you are. Go learn dude. They are elite athletes. The neck muscles alone are impressive

The cockpit of an F1 car stays around 140 F for the duration of the race and even in peak condition, the driver's HR stays over 200 BPM for 2+ hours. They're athletes.

"The cockpit of an F1 car stays around 140 F for the duration of the race and even in peak condition, the driver's HR stays over 200 BPM for 2+ hours. They're athletes"..... merely being in-shape doesn't mean you're an athlete.

"over 200 BPM for 2+ hours" ????
Yeah, I had to look that up. Everything I see states "up to 200" at times. Seems more like 140s-170s average. Over 200 sustained for 2 hours would not end well.

NOT an 'aha' moment as less weight and more weight is critical in both sports (less and more). What is such a surprise!

People really are ignorant to how hard it actually is for F1. The G force is insane. Just holding your head straight is an athletic feat.
