NFL analyst Chris Simms was on PFT Live recently and said the following about injured Eagles star QB Jalen Hurts...“
quote:

There’s just no way he’s more valuable to his team than Mahomes, Burrow, or Allen. Those teams are not the same teams if they don’t have them at quarterback. If you put Gardner Minshew (in for) the Eagles, they’d still be really damn good.”
ESPN's SportsCenter social channels continue to reference the quote and post it on their social media channels. Something Simms is not cool with and has set him off...

Sounds like he was saying Philly has a better backup than the other teams.

Simms calling ESPN babies. That's rich.

Actually I agree with his take. Mahomes, Allen, and Burrow are more valuable to their teams. And for people trying to pull the race card, Mahomes is half black.

Geez Sims. You can’t speak the truth of the player is black. You can only bash white players.

Probably cause it wasn't the truth? But for people like you who have no come back the only thing you have is to bring up race Lol

The eagles are still pretty damn good without Jalen hurts! The 3 qbs he mentioned are more valuable to their team than Jalen hurts! Fact!

The Eagles can't even run the ball without Hurts. He also didn't turn the ball over as much a Minshew does. Also the other QBs are only more valuable becsuse we've never seen their backups have to actually play.

I don't get what is wrong with what he said? Is it a white guy saying something negative about a black guy kind of thing?

You dumbass. The problem is he made a dumbass take, the same as LeSean McCoy's dumbass did and it backfired. It's the same kind of dumbass take people were making about Lamar Jackson. But we've seen just how dysfunctional both teams are without their starting QB. It's not a white person saying it, but it seems like dual threat QBs get this stigma about them for no reason. If you take an elite QB away from any team they are going to suffer. Look at the Texans ever since Deshaun Watson hasn't played there. Look at the Saints?

@Datbayoubengal....so a pocket PRO-QB has a different take about dual threat QBs than you and he is a dumbarse? You got an overinflated opinion of yourself bud. And the stigma is there because it hasn't replaced the pro-style QB as the proven frontrunner. Really not that hard to understand....other than by the same race-baiter types that railed Rush Limbaugh for what he said back in the 90s.

Son of an NFL coach and former NFL QB himself. I think he probably knows a thing or two about football. I mean maybe not compared to Stew2581 but still
