Montana State is FCS but won the championship last year and would kill Morgan State. They could beat a bottom ACC team or Purdue. Point is some FCS teams have a pulse.

Georgia offered that to whoever they played on Saturday, but the team declined

You shouldn't be allowed to play against FBS teams if you can't play the full 4Qs.

FBS vs FCS games should be abolished.

What Larry Leo is doing to Journalism needs a “Mercy Rule” to be instituted.

The largest comeback in FBS history was 35 points: Michigan State overcame a 38-3 deficit to beat Northwestern 41–38 on Oct. 21, 2006. I'm pretty sure it would have been safe to end the game once AZ ST went up by 63.

Was on a crew working high school game. Blowout. Losing coach declined the offer. At that point nobody is out of bounds. Lol

Had a high school game that was similar. The young white boys on our team were playing full grown men at Scotlandville High. Score was something like 70-0 midway in the 3rd quarter. No "mercy" rule was mentioned, but that clock kept spinning on incompletes, out of bounds, pretty much everything except a score or change of possession. Even when the clock had to stop, it would always spin for another 3-4 seconds. Michigan would've been out of luck.

All good with that - Just wondering how that would affect betting?

I believe the betting rules for college football requires the game last within 5 minutes or the originally scheduled time which would be the case here. So the bets still count.

Should the fans get a rebate on their ticket prices?

So just like that, they robbed the vendors and concessionaires who spend big bucks in the hope of four quarters of potential captive customers.
