The University of Mary-Hardin Baylor has parted ways with women's head basketball coach Mark Morefield after video shows him launching an expletive-filled tirade toward Cru players on the court.

UMHB officials confirmed to 25 News that Morefield was "no longer employed" with the university but failed to disclose if he resigned or officials terminated his employment.

According to sources, the removal could be the result of an incident that occurred during a team practice in November. Sources indicate a player suffered a season-ending injury when rolled upon by another player. Following the incident, a frustrated Morefield allegedly used an expletive when explaining to the team why the injury should not have occurred.

If it weren’t for this CTE I could tell you about all of the physical abuse we got as kids. Cussing? Ha.

I am a coach, and I can tell you, athletes often don't hear you ask them the first time, or the second time when you do it in a constructive or encouraging manner... How many times do I have to ask an athlete to do something before I am allowed to get frustrated and take an alternative route to get their attention. Unfortunately, most players don't go home and think about the first few times a coach asks them to do something, they remember the coach getting mad and frustrated and blowing up about it... And I can tell you with all honesty, that blow up comes from a place of passion.

I was expecting a racial slur or something.

Coaches cussing at players is pretty dang typical.

Most males who coach women’s sports are psychos. They couldn’t cut it coaching men.

Phew, thank God! Glad to see I am not the only one not offended by that. Not my style of communication, but yeah. Nothing off the scale of pissed-off coach speak.

I assure you, my high school head coach, Travis Farrar, could put the fear of God into you with his outbursts, but he never once motivated anyone, at least in my years around him, using F-Bombs. Do you think Tom Landry coached his Cowboy's team uttering long f-bomb laden tirades? It doesn't have to be this way.

This is why I always say, MEN AND WOMEN ARE DIFFERENT. The only people crying over this are women and soft men. When women say we are equal this is what we show them to say we are not. This is absolutely weak sauce in terms of coaches being pissed.

When someone tells you there’s no difference between a man and a woman remind him of this video. If there is no difference, I guess Augie Garrido was not only a despicable human being, but should’ve never been allowed to coach collegiate baseball, right?
