Like a lot of counter cultural things in the past, what was once taboo is now mainstream.

It's really no big deal what someone does to his skin if it's not harming anyone.

tattoo's aren't a bad thing as long as theyre meaningful and aren't able to be seen when working for a big company or something of that sort. Maybe he didnt get to play in post season but he was right there on the bench taking a great journey all the way through the playoffs and maybe his team winning it was one of the most meaningful things in life to him...
