Jamal Murray Had No Idea His Team Has Only 1 Day Off Until Scott Van Pelt Told Him
© Pool Photo-USA TODAY Sports
The Denver Nuggets came back from being down 3-1 in the series to beat the Utah Jazz last night and eliminate them. The series was awesome to watch with both teams playing their hearts out, especially Nuggets young star Jamal Murray. After the game, an exhausted Murray went on SportsCenter where he was interviewed by Scott Van Pelt, who revealed to him he didn't have two days off, only one. His response was about as real as it gets...
One day off is kind of a terrible deal. Clippers and Nuggets tip off Thursday.

Just take the day off and call it a protest. No one will say a thing.

If the next series is anything like the one with Utah, I'll be amazed. Helluva game last night! And I don't particularly care for either team.

We only get one day off work for Labor Day? Man, that's a bummer.

We're also bummed that there is going to be an NBA game played on Thursday. Or any day for that matter.

I don't watch NBA games but I'm glad they are on TV only for Sportscenter highlights.
